In 2014, Cora Cooks Pancit was chosen by One Book, One San Diego as the children's book of the year. Cora Cooks Pancit was awarded the Asian Pacific American Library Association's "Picture Book of the Year" in 2010. To order a signed copy leave Dorina a comment.

Dorina is a published children's book author and teacher at California State University, Fresno. She loves to run, create healthy recipes and knit when she isn't chasing or taxi driving her 3 active girls all over town. Meilani is an 8-year-old whose life is a constant musical. Giada is a spunky 5-year-old who loves to put on an apron and help mama in the kitchen. Zayla is the 3-year-old dare devil of the family who always wins people with a dimpled smile.

Giada Esther Gilmore was born February 16, 2009 at home. Giada means "jade" in Italian; Esther means "star" in Persian. Giada Esther is named after our fave Italian chef and our favorite woman of the Bible.
